Inspiration

Where do you get your inspiration?
I haven't had much pep this week .
I don't know if it is this crazy weather or just me.
This weekend I went out shopping to
get some inspiration but was uninspired.
The stores were depressing. Most years, they
are full of new spring collections and Valentine merchandise.

I guess the bad economy is to blame.

I drove down down today to see if
I could find something to spark me .
But most of the shops that looked
promising were closed on Mondays .
I am new to this area.

I did find this cute pig in front of a store dressed for spring.
This is my inspiration for the week.
Not only has she inspired me for my
table setting, but to get moving.
I going to eat and cook healthier.

I am also plan to walk more this week.
I think she is cute with her makeup and dress,
but she is still a pig.

  1. Who would ever think a pig dressed in blue would inspire you.

  2. I think those colors would make anyone happy, even if they are on a pig! Our town used to have artists dress up cows like this and put them all over the town before selling them to make money for the schools. It really isn't my taste to have a dressed up cow (or pig) in my house, but it is fun to see the creativity.

Thank you for joining my party. Unless I missed it, I think you forgot to link back this week. Thanks in advance for fixing that!

  3. she is totally adorable. We have a piggy bank who sits on our shelves as an art piece. He's so adorable and makes me smile just like this piggy.

  8. We have cattle art like this in Texas...and when we lived in Tucson AZ....there were horses. Now, I know my daughter would just go bananas over these pigs. She collects pigs. LOL

    Love it.
