I  had a great Vacation!   But it is  good to be back home!
I wanted to share this information with all you quilters.
This is a great Quilt show. So come on over.
I would like to share my to new quilts I just finished before I went on vacation .
The pattern is for beginners like me.
I am very proud of them.
I made this quilt for my master bedroom.
This is called a Jelly Roll Strip Quilt .
It is  king size. The fabric is
 from a civil war collection.

I wish I had better light so you could
see the beautiful colors and details.
Those are little flags on the navy strip.

Here is the backing.
This is called a Strip Quilt also. I cut my own 2
1/2 inch strips in coordinating colors.

I made this quilt queen size for my guest bedroom.

The colors are blues, greens, browns and golds.

This is the backing. It is a neutral color.
Hope you enjoyed seeing my Quilts.
I am working on three different patterns.
Much more complex. Hope to finish one soon.Come back and see my vacation photos of Virginia Beach, Williamsburg, and Clearwater beach.

  2. Oh Jo, I love your quilts, you are sooo very talented! I specially love the brown one, but both are stunning! I do want to learn to make them, but no-one I know teaches this art around here, although I know they like it. I will find out and maybe pay them to teach me. Wish you could, lol..Thanks for sharing and for your lovely visit. I'm sure you had a great vacation, but I am like you..the best part of a trip is to come home!

  10. Jo, I didn't realize you are a quilter and a good one no less. I have wanted to quilt since I was very young but just have never started one. I think because they look so complicated to do. I have an aunt that still quilts in her 80's. You chose colors that look great in your rooms. Thank you for showing them at my party. -------Shannon
