Virginia Beach Neptune

This was my first trip to Virginia Beach.
This is a statue of
Neptune  that sets at the
beachfront around 30th. street.

You can see we had beautiful blue skies and
warm weather. It was a little cool for me but
 others were in the water.
It was about 76 degrees.

Beautiful sandy beaches for miles.

The beach has one of the nicest
walks that I have been on. It way also very clean.
It was very relaxing. Hope you have a Happy Blue Monday! Come back and see my other posts! Love reading all of your comments. I will follow you back!

  1. Virginia Beach is beautiful. I was there as a child, but don't remember much about it. The statue of Nepture is do dramatic. Looks like you were pretty much alone on the beach. It's always nice to have a quiet stroll along the beach.

  8. I have only visited VA Beach once for a 3 day workshop. I too was so impressed with the boardwalk, with the parallel bike path and especially the extra clean, groomed beaches. Such a fun place. Thanks for visiting. Dianne

  19. So glad you liked our fair city! I have lived in and around VA Beach for many years. There was a wonderful documentary done about the Neptune statue a few years ago, right after it was erected, shown on PBS. It was an amazing feat to get it here and installed! You have some wonderful shots of the beach - not often you see it this unpopulated!
