| You can see we had beautiful blue skies and warm weather. It was a little cool for me but others were in the water. It was about 76 degrees. |

Virginia Beach is beautiful. I was there as a child, but don't remember much about it. The statue of Nepture is do dramatic. Looks like you were pretty much alone on the beach. It's always nice to have a quiet stroll along the beach.

I have only visited VA Beach once for a 3 day workshop. I too was so impressed with the boardwalk, with the parallel bike path and especially the extra clean, groomed beaches. Such a fun place. Thanks for visiting. Dianne

ReplyDeleteSo glad you liked our fair city! I have lived in and around VA Beach for many years. There was a wonderful documentary done about the Neptune statue a few years ago, right after it was erected, shown on PBS. It was an amazing feat to get it here and installed! You have some wonderful shots of the beach - not often you see it this unpopulated!
